The Man of Steel, Kal-El is the last son of Krypton. When he was a baby his father Jor-El allowed him to escape from the dying planet on a rocket ship to Earth. Adopted by a Kansas farm family, he was adopted and was called Clark Kent. As he spent his days living on Earth, his body began absorbing the radiation of the sun, giving him extraordinary powers, such as super strength, laser vision, x-ray vision, invincibility, freeze breath, and flight. Wearing a refugee suit, he saves the world from perils, and becomes know to the public as Superman, as named by his lover Lois Lane. His only weakness is anything native to Krypton, such as the green glowing Krytonite. He is one of the founding members of the Justice League.
