Thanks, yeah this is just from a pixelator tool that I used on most of my skins. It's helpful for giving a bit of texture and a semblance of shading but...it's not true shading. I haven't really broken through and done true shading yet, heh. It's hard to do but totally worth it. You just gotta study other very good skins, maybe watch Halucid's video guide.
