I would suggest trying a different shading style with the hair. try to expiriment. Also, it would be good to uncover her eyes from underneath her hair. that way she looks a bit more appealing. Don't forget to add and even balance of highlights and darks.

It is also important to shade underneath the torso and on top of the legs. Make sure you pasy attention to areas underneath the skin areas that you don't see at first glance. Another good Idea would not to use colors that are to overpowering or neon. that way they are easy on the eyes.

Another tip would to not go for regular clothing or overused things that you would normally see that will help you expand your horizons. Just try your best and practice.  I understand your new so please don't give up just keep going.
