Once upon a time on a very hot day, a wizard stopped in the middle of a field to rest his tired old bones. He was fortunate enough to have some company in the form of an old scarecrow. Being a bit lonely he spent the afternoon speaking to this straw man half expecting it to respond, though not a whisper slipped from its jack O' lantern grin. When the wizard had recovered enough strength to resume his journey, being grateful for the scarecrow's company he blessed it with a hint of magic. As the sun rose on the following day once stiff sticks & straw gave way to life. The wizard gave your life and a will of your own, venture where and when you will, follow in his footsteps and learn the arcane arts, or keep to the simple life and protect the farm you call home. But maybe just maybe if you take to the road, you can one day find your magical friend.
