In a post-apocalyptic future, the land is ruled by two things: monsters, and tanks. Said tanks are piloted by daring, intrepid monster hunters who make their living by protecting the remnants of human society from all manner of unruly beasts. Young Rebanna dreams of becoming a famous hunter himself, to the chagrin of his father.

At length, he ends up getting the boot from dear old dad, and is promptly disowned. While he may now be free to pursue his chosen career, no monster hunter ever got far without a tank. By chance, our wannabe hero picks up a rumour about a tank sitting abandoned in a cave nearby. Now having all the free time in the world, he arms himself with a slingshot and his wits, and sets out to seek his fortune.
