-Before you say anything, I drew this skin before any of the skins were being uploaded, but it needed some tweaking before going live. This is not a copy.-
April 8th 2015. A brave and tired adventurer was exploring the deserts of Minecraftia. He wandered for days and weeks, soon his supplies were all consumed. He has even lost motivation to move. He just collapsed on the sand, waiting for his demise. However, he felt a strange urge to get up and start digging. So he did. He kept digging the sand for hours and hours, until he finally found the ruins of an ancient temple. He gazed upon the night sky, praised Notch for his discovery, and descended to the dark, scary unknown.
Nearly fainting from the sight, he was admiring the giant-sized statues and columns. He descended more, until he finally reached the ground. He found himself in a great hall, 4 corridors to go. He chose one, and reached the room at the very end. It was sealed with ancient runes and hieroglyps.
Upon inspecting the symbols, he recognised two words: 'GOD' and 'DEATH'. He knew it was something to do with ancient rituals, but any more details remained unknown to him. He continued to seek for familiar words, until he could read out 'BLOOD', 'SACRIFICE' and 'OPEN'. He knew what he needed to do. He drew his sword from his backpack and cut himself.
Blood was dripping from his hand where he cut it, dripping on the floor covered in age-old sand, where the ancients used to walk. The sand started to glow with faint yellow light, and the seal suddenly broke. He opened the door and entered the dark room. His torch has almost burned out, but he could still see a man-sized sculpture of a humanoid creature. He leaned towards it. The statue was carved out of black stone and solid gold. It had the head of a canine. The adventurer was amazed by the details of the statue. He wanted to feel the surface and texture of this piece of true art, and he touched the stone... with his bleeding hand.
It was a moment of silence. He could almost hear the screaming of thousands of people, but no one was screaming. The dim light of the torch was reflected in the statue's golden armor. His hand suddenly stopped bleeding. He looked up, only to realize the statue is watching him. He was startled. He fell of the floor and started shaking. The statue was just staring at him. That is, until he finally opened it's maw to speak:
'Salut, brave adventurer. I was imprisoned here by a curse, which was only to be broken by an innocent without the intention of awakening me. You have freed me. As my gift of gratitude, I can grant you any wish. Speak not, my friend, I know what you need. You came here for knowledge, I can give you all. Therefore you are now granted with all the secrets you sook for, a way home, and a plentyful life, just what you always wished. And now I shall watch over the deserts of Minecraftia, protecting it from the wicked and sinful, for I, the God of Life and Death... am finally awakened.'
