This is a skin I made for the Nuclear Winter Skin Contest. Please leave a diamond if you like it! Thanks! Anyway, I created a little story about my skin. I hope you enjoy it!
It has been a year now since the war ended, and all I have are distant memories of my past. They are the only things that keep me going in hopes that the world will be like that again someday. Until then, I will wait and hope for the best.
It's been tough surviving in this cold, barren land with little food and water. Especially since it never stops snowing. It is also extremely difficult to keep warm and avoid radiation. I'm holding up, though. I have my coat and my best friend, Valery, with me, and she is always there to keep me company. It is just the two of us, however, and we always need to stay vigilant and alert as to avoid any pillagers or mutants, people who were affected by the radiation, that may try to harm us. So far we haven't had any dangerous encounters with them.
Because of the lack of resources, we are always moving in search of anything that we can use to survive. This could be an abandoned house or a puddle which we can purify to drink. If we find a prosperous place, we may stay there until the resources are used up.
Occasionally, we will find another small group of people that will share their food and water with us. While it is rare, we never pass up this opportunity.
As of now, Valery and I are taking refuge in an abandoned hotel. We have not explored it too much, however, because there could be any number of things in the other rooms that may try to harm us. I will just have to hope there isn't anything, and if there is, hope that it will not be able to get through the lock.
All I can say now is that I hope a better future will come soon for us, and we will be able to live out the rest of our days in happiness.
