You're probably thinking "What in the actual fudge is this, Leo?!". Okay, let me explain:

Once there was an octopus who found an old sunken pirate ship. On that ship there was a big chest of treasure, the octopus fell in love with that chest, and therefor decided to hold on to it. It also found a red cape and some golden jewelry (a.k.a bling-bling). The octopus loves good fashion, so it decided to wear that.

So yeah, that's what I have for this contest. Hurr durr.

Added some jewels to the chest (a bit tentative to whether this is better or worse)

Removed the pistols.

Removed the mouth and the weird belt, they felt a bit out of place.

I know i am not Leostereo but to shad you can also go into Edit in the Skin Edit thing and click on Add Noise choose the number on the line and then click ok Automatic Shading!

Noise isn't automatic shading. It just makes skins look messy when there's too much added. It's okay to add lightly for hair and clothes for texture but not on the whole skin for shading.

This doesn't resemble an Octopus in the slightest, even with the explanation pic. Its still a good skin, but not for an underwater themed contest. It looks more like a knight with armor or something. You really should have been disqualified.

Not a whole lot, but with just a little you should be able to see how what the skin is meant to be. When looking at the reference it makes sense to me, and probably the judges too, I did in fact score third place, so I'm pretty sure they knew what it was.
