Backstory:
     A child named Timothy once found a toy robot under his desk next to his bed. It was impossible to wind it up anymore, but it's eyes still lit up, so he kept it, thinking he could use it as a night light. Timothy had a bad feeling something was going to happen that night, but he still fell asleep eventually. Under his bed there was a noise that sounded like whispering. Monsters slowly crept out from under his bed, but the moment they stood up, the toy robot suddenly started working once again and it quickly gave the monsters a piercing look. The monsters, frightened by the sudden movement of the toy, slid back under the bed, and they didn't come out again that night.

     Timothy woke up in the morning, and the bad feeling he had went away. For a second Timothy thought that the toy robot had helped, but then he realized that it was just a toy, and it couldn't have really helped in any way. The same bad feeling came back again that night, but this time, it was worse. The toy robot knew that this time, the monsters wouldn't just crawl back under the bed. Timothy fell asleep, and then the monsters got out from under the bed once again. The toy robot quickly jumped in the air and grabbed one of the monster's heads. The monster shook him off and quickly crawled under the bed, terrified by the fact that a toy was that smart and that agile. The other monsters weren't as cowardly though, so it proved to be a tough fight. After all the monsters were so terrified that they ran from Timothy's room and out of the house, the toy returned to the desk, slightly broken and beat up.

     Timothy woke up in the morning, and felt great. Timothy actually believed that the toy robot brought him good luck, so he kept it on his desk every day. Timothy saw that the robot was broken and beat up, so he spent the whole afternoon fixing it. When it was time for him to go to bed, the toy was completely fixed. No monsters ever hid under Timothy's bed again.
