The Wandering Thief is a mysterious thief who goes after people who refused to buy or trade with their companion the Traveling Merchant and much like them, isn't bound by the laws of time or space. They reject social contact and are known to swiftly take any possession of people on their target list without their victim knowing, and will fight back should someone try to prevent her from her business. The Thief is among the world's most skilled fighters and can take down the average human/mc player in just a few hits of their sword and fire balls, and is vicious in-battle. However, the Thief can be defeated like any boss or powerful enemy, and they will leave you alone if defeated.

She is known to be working with the Merchant and has a list of everyone who the Merchant says refused their sales. The two work together and use telecommunication devices to alert the other. Some say she is the sister of the Merchant due to their resemblance and displaying similar properties such as nigh-absolute access and teleportation abilities. Others state the two are simply friends and just belong to the same species. Neither the Thief, or the Merchant had clarified either way. Still, take the existence of the Thief to always have some money at hand for the Merchant should they approach, as backing out without talking or giving the Merchant anything will summon the Thief.
