The uniform of the Wehrmacht during the second world war changed over the course of the conflict to become something that only partially resembled the well known M36 uniform which they started the war wearing. Late war uniforms had field grey collars instead of bottle-green, and field grey pants instead of stone-grey. However, the general look of the uniform stayed more-or-less the same.
