Billy Kaplan, previously Billy Maximoff in a "previous life," is the spiritual son of the Scarlet Witch. While his status as a Mutant is ambiguous, he has a power nonetheless; He possesses Chaos Magic, and his "Spellcasting" is just a form of Reality Warping wherein he repeatedly chants the effect he wishes to happen. He and his teammates and friends continue to call this magic, where he would show many magical feats, especially elemental attacks and the ability to peer into other dimensions in order to reverse engineer the steps that lead to the moment, and the culmination of his power leads into the Demiurge, a multiversal entity capable of altering reality on a multiverse scale and is capable of interacting and changing the panels of the comic book he transformed into a half power Demiurge in.

Billy Kaplan grew up in a Jewish household with his parents, where he was bullied frequently at school for being openly gay, a nerd, and skinny and weak. A chance encounter with the Scarlet Witch made him avoid his bully until it culminated in him stepping in to protect another student and ended with him electrocuting his bully half to death. After this incident, he would meet Teddy Altman, where they would bond over their newfound outcast status, and after Teddy revealed his half Skrull form the two fell in love and joined the Young Avengers where Billy went by Asgardian and Teddy went by Hulkling, to fight Kang the Conqueror. Since then, Billy would change his hero name to Wiccan.
