Before I discuss my character I'd like to point out one thing:

Dangit, I should of totally done Will Smith as neo for the competition. Well, what's done is done.

Instead of focusing on the character: Captain James T. West I decided to focus on Will Smith himself the actor playing this role. Because honestly, the movie itself is not good. Will Smith will tell you that himself. It spawned a dope song and it taught Will Smith a valuable lesson though. At the time of the Wild Wild West Will Smith had so much success he started to taste the fame and it really went to his head. Will Smith's focus shifted from Artistry to Winning. Will Smith wanted to win and be the biggest movie star, he found himself promoting something because he wanted to win instead of promoting something because he believed in it.

The Wild Wild West taught Will Smith a valuable lesson:

Will Smith learnt to never let the fame go to his head again & do something because he believes in and enjoys what he is doing instead of for the purpose of winning.
