I'd make the diagonal strap of light brown bag thicker, so it looks less like a simple rope, or string.
Besides that the shading is great! Don't forget to do the shoes aswell.

The diagonal strap actually goes to a cylinder on his left side, but left it out, as it would look exactly right with it, and since I liked to keep my skins sort of pre 1.8 skin format. I tried to keep it thinner, but should have probably made them thicker, as they were about the same thickness as the belt, which I made two pixels wide. As for shoes, I don't normally like touched anything that is coloured black, since it usually comes out looking weird, at least to me. I also forgot to shade the belt buckle. Shame on me for not noticing that!

I see your point, still don't be afraid to try new stuff, especially concerning the boots.
