Hello there, fellow Planet Minecraft Forums scavenger! You're probably wondering what this post is about. Well, let me tell you that I'm going to remake every single sound file by using solely my bad and stupid voice! I came up with this idea thanks to a "modification" for another game, Half Life 2, where all the sounds had been replaced by the creator's voice; so here I am, although I don't know how much my inspiration will last. My goal is to re-make all 1406 sounds from Minecraft 1.13 (and above once 1.14 gets officially released, meaning that snapshots won't count). Here's a really short preview I did in about one minute:
As you may have heard from the video (if you've seen it in the first place) not much has been done so far, but you guys need to understand that 1406 .ogg files are a lot, and even though it took me only half an hour to make this version of the Soundpack, it's still hard to make progress.
The list below shows all the progress and the things to do.
Total progress: 58/1406 files (4.125%)
Done:
To Do:
Of course, you can always suggest anything to me that could be tweaked. Take note that some sounds are physically impossible to voice (at least for me), so they have got completely "re-imagined", however if you think that those sounds are indeed possible to make, then contact me privately on the Forums or on Discord (Gyarik#9854, most likely I'll answer quickly on Discord since I don't look at the Forums 24/7), you will get credited once the voice file gets modified/added.
