I am the rat. The rat is me. The rat in the title is me i'm the rat.

This is my pack, called a rat's pack because i couldn't think of anything else. The aim is the pack is to try to repaint Minecraft with a new art style while still keeping what I think makes the game special. Here are a few of my favorite features in the pack:

Notable Features:

• The wandering trader is now the infamous Rana, from the indev stages of the game. I wanted to add at least one of Dock's characters into the pack to reference it, so I did. I like to think that the unused mobs just kind of wander the minecraft world out of sight, and I guess Rana becomes a merchant. Maybe i'll try to make the llamas beast boys.
• Some mobs have variated textures, like the zombie, who can be a generic zombie, a PVZ type zombie, a rare herobrine zombie, and a Headcrab zombie, with the texture stolen from an old legacy console skin pack to reference that great version, and half life i guess.
• The end's colors are mixed up a bit. I'm under the opinion that the end city colors are disgusting so I made them more simplistic and made them seem more otherworldly. If demand is high enough (which it probably won't) I'll make an add-on to use the original colors, because I know how annoying it is to see a pack ruin a build's theming.
  
• The ghast cries oil instead of tears now, so if it gets angry, it's eyes light on fire, and also explains why they shoot fire in the first place.
• The paintings are re-painted to look a little more... you know... good? I just changed them so you could see them better, or made them more accurate to the source material. The awful wither painting is also changed to an even worse pack.png painting.
• The music discs are cassette tapes, inspired by this reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/fy6byw/creating_a_texture_pack_for_minecraft/
• The spiders aren't spiders anymore. I don't know what they are but they're definitely freaky.
• The endermen have spines.
• The lodestone is a Nether Reactor Core from the old pocket editions of the game. It's inspired by this pack https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/my-custom-resource-pack/
• elephant villagers!
• The UI is inspired by persona 5!
• also, some of the new splash text is inspired by a pack called the custom menu pack. I can't find it anywhere though.

• fix the melon and pumpkin stems.
• Make the cats.
• make the enderman teeth look better.
