This texture pack changes the textures of all of the wood slab types to use the bark wood textures.

This pack works very well with outdoor scenes and custom trees, allowing for more height variation.

Note: If double slabs are made, the texture will revert back to the respective plank texture

Enjoy :)

Ps. There is a version of this pack using the stripped wood instead of the bark, available on my page!

i was literally thinking about something like this because for some smaller trees a whole block looks way too thick and no block looks fragile
ty this really helps
idea: you could use optifine's CIT so that you could have regular stairs and slabs for most builds and use the bark when you want to make a tree

Hey,

So I just looked into using CITs and unfortunately at this time there's no way to use CITs or CTMs to affect placed blocks. Seems like it could only alter the item texture and not the block itself

Glad you like it!

Also I'll have to think about using CITs, I'm not a huge fan of working with Optifine but I'll keep it in mind :)
