How to install Minecraft Resource Packs

Inspired by Buul0chka's Colorful Pumpkins (https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/colorful-pumpkins-pack/), I made a resource pack that adds 8 extra textures for the melon. Varieties include Sugar Baby, Icebox, White Wonder, Black Diamond, Charentais, Moon and Stars, Golden Midget, and Yellow (in addition to the regular Minecraft melon, so 9 total textures).

Ensure the file is unzipped if you don't see it on your list

My packs will come compressed in a zip file for an easier download (compressed files take less space) and better overall organization.


One common mistake Minecraft players do is trying to install the resource packs without extracting the files first, so the game cannot read what’s inside the zip file, therefore the pack doesn’t show up in the list of available resource packs.

Variated block textures don't necessarily require Optifine. You can edit a few files and make it display a different texture depending on coordinates. I haven't made one in a bit, but blovks are not as hard to mess with as mobs or items. Give me a bit, and I'll tell you which files to edit.

Yup! Just messed around with the Fabric mod and realized I didn't need Optifine. :) This is my first time making a texture pack, so I didn't know. Ty!
