Inspired by many other works, this texture pack mainly consists of a lot of sprites from other games that I have recolored and/or edited. Having worked on it (and later reworked most of it) over a few months, I'm hoping that someone will enjoy using this pack, which I hope carries the spirt of the 16-32bit era of gaming.

Please use MCPatcher or Optifine for the full experience.

Please unzip the archive in your texture packs folder. This pack seems to hate being confined or something.

I plan to continue working on this pack as more content is added to Minecraft itself.

This pack works well with:
-MCPatcher/Optifine (CTM, custom colors, random mobs, HD fonts)
-More player models

CreditLink's Awakening font by Maligree, inspired by the awesome works of Rhodox, Sean Pyke, Wayuki, Tarn Adams and many others.

  • Changed all wool textures to make them less cartoony and so the pink wool would stop searing my eyeballs.
  • Palette corrected on a few items and CTM blocks

  • Nether brick now matches Netherrack color
  • Make clock hand more visible
  • Torches made a little prettier
  • Fire now matches other palettes
  • Netherquartz and sandstone stairs slightly prettier thanks to CTM

Are you using MCPatcher or Optifine? If not, the font really doesn't play well with vanilla MineCraft.
If you are, then I might need to find another font. You're not the only one having trouble reading this one.

I keep getting a bug where almost every block is a white texture with text that has the directory of the ctm blocks. Any idea about this? Because I really want to use your texture pack. I am using MCpatcher 3.0.4 (current/latest) and Minecraft 1.5.2.

Yeah, I have no idea what's going on there and I've been getting the same problem with that version since shortly after I started to work on an update. Either way, I'm going to upload what I have now and hopefully it will work better.

So after testing something I found out that the texture pack REALLY HATES being in a .zip file for some reason. Try unzipping it and loading it as a folder and see if that works.

Don't mention it. I don't know why it being zipped is such a problem for it, but I'm glad to hear that it works.
