You can also name your dogs "Soul Hound" to reskin them

Skeletons spawned in the soul sand valley will have souls (basically glowing blue highlights).
Spiders spawned in the soul sand valley will be the minecraft earth bone spider.

The skeletons and spiders aren't working. Would be way better if any of these mobs would turn into 'soul' mobs if names Soul Hound or anything else.

you can breed dogs and wolves in the valley yourself. The skeletons and spiders do work with nametags, you just need to name them "Soul Skeleton" and "Bone Spider" respectively

Noticed something else, the soul mobs' regular textures come back when they are in the overworld.

And can each mob randomly have another soul texture? Because the wolf in the picture has a 'soul' chest

The chest glows up when wild soul hound get angry. The overworld bug is an optifine thing that I cannot control. you're going to have to name the soul hounds soul hound if you want to retexture them in the overworld.
