You see, the way Minecraft renders textures onto figures isn't all that complex. It takes the texture, and just places it on there, like you'd expect. Needless to say, higher resolution textures will eat up more RAM, and VRAM, but as long as you can render them easily in the first place, they won't make a difference as far as performance goes. Therefore, the only thing the 32x32 textures within your texture pack will do (even in the least) is make the game run slower. Now, for the low-res images. Anything lower than 16x16 (in Minecraft specifically) isn't displayed at its native resolution over objects. For example an 8x8 texture rendered in the game will be stretched (using nearest neighbor filtering) over a 16x16 grid. This effectively makes lower resolution textures when used in vanilla Minecraft even slower than the 16x16 textures. If you use OptiFine, a texture patcher, and frame rate enchancer, you'll be able to render lower resolution textures natively; however, even then the only improvement you'll see is from the mod. IF we were able to do this in vanilla, we wouldn't even see an extra tenth of a frame anyway, since textures nearly never affect frame rate, assuming you've got the (V)RAM to use them in the first place. Also, computers have just advanced to the point where things as trivial as the color of pixels doesn't affect us, so don't try and pull that card.

This texture pack WILL NOT improve your computers performance.

GUYS! i dont know where else to post this, so i will now. LISTEN! go on to minecraft. go to 1 player. ( single player) set world default, and type the EXACT thing,        Roofed Jungle                                                          so go onto it, and you will end up with this medium sized floating island, with 2 or 3 trees on it and water.
so go onto it and enjoy!

Hmm...
Its impossible for a texture pack to reduce lag...
The textures are really half-baked (well, in all honesty, just terrible)...
Yeah, I don't see a reason for this to exist, or be as popular as its gotten.

That's a lie, and you obviously know nothing of how the game engine (or computers in general) work. Again, its LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE for you to get higher frame rates using a texture pack. Especially not with one that does nothing but change the colors. Maybe in, like, 1995 it would've helped. lmao

ITS COMPLETELY POSSIBLE,I compared Vanila Minecraft and My RPack and I got a good fps increase. The another thing is YOU MAY NOT TESTED OR DOWNLOAD THE PACK or READ THE INFO and YOU COMPLAINED HERE with OFFENSVE SENTENCES.

The RPack is MULTI-RESOLUTION and I will state the Res that makes the game ran smoother.

"1x1-The grass, stone and other terrain blocks have this in my pack AND MAKE THE GAME RAN SMOOTHER because of LOGICAL REASONS!"

"USE SIMPLE OR LOW -RESOLUTION Resource Pack FOR LESS LAG"
-Anonymous (from MC Forums)

DON'T BE A HATER!
OR I WILL BE FORCED TO DELETE/REPORT UR COMMENT!

LAST THING:
TEST OUT THIS BEFORE JUDGING!

I WORKED HARD FOR THIS,IT'S NOT TOO EASY TO MAKE A HUGE RESOURCE PACK!

I'm not hating on it (although I do hate it). Its not possible. You have no idea what you're talking about, and type with the finesse of an 8 year old. If you can't behave on the internet, get off it.

Multiple resolutions within a texture pack isn't going to make it run any smoother, you know. ESPECIALLY not if some of the textures are a higher resolution than default.

I have all the answers, you have all the empty claims. Not that you're able to understand any of the above, given your lack of experience with computers, anyway.

I'll be adding a new comment so that others can follow along, and understand why this is a hoax better.

PS: You can't report someone for exposing the lies within your post. Grow up, then come back to PMC.
