This Texture Pack adds Extra Layers to floating gravity blocks,
so you know if the place where you are standing is stable or not

FEATURES / CHANGES IT MAKES:
- This Texture Pack only affects sand, red sand and gravel, as they are the only gravity blocks that can be generated naturally in a world
- Great for finding semi-exposed caves, ravines, and mineshafts!

GAME VERSION: JAVA 1.19
OPTIFINE NEEDED? No

COMPATIBILITY / SUPPORT:
- Works with ANY texture pack that changes the texture of any of these blocks!

RELATED PACKS / ADDONS / ALTERNATE VERSIONS:
- If you prefer a more obvious and luminous version, check the alternate version out!

I HOPE YOU LIKE THIS PACK! (Dont forget to extract it from the ZIP before moving it to the "Resource packs" folder)

KNOWN ISSUES
- Lighting bugs and z-fighting can occur, this has no solution.
- This texture pack will work 100% of the time that a gravity block is floating, but it may also work when the block is on a non-solid block.

Hmm, that's a nice idea, but I think you could make another
alternative version with a model like farmland.

well, how did you do it, because there is no falling property in the blockstates, how does it work at all?!!!

I created new blockstates 👁️👁️
Nah jk, I just added an extra model on top of each block and code it to disappear if there is a solid block underneath.
So if the block is floating that extra model doesn't disappear and gives it the distinctive look among the other blocks ;)

It would be great if they add a new blockstate to gravity blocks, something as simple as "is_floating=true" could give us the ability to customize those blocks a lot more, I think I'll suggest that idea on Minecraft Feedback ;)

Let me guess, did you put the sand block inside a "box" slightly bigger in size, with the same side textures but with a different top one?

To be honest, that's an idea that I had considered, in fact it was recommended to me in the comments of the other version I made of this texture pack, the problem is that even though the different textures don't touch each other, anyway z-fighting appears if you look at it from afar. Unfortunately I think there is no solution for that visual glitch, that's why it didn't convince me that way and I ended up doing it as you see, but if you like to upload your version of course! you are free to do it! :D maybe I'll also add my own version with new textures B)

by the way, about the feedback about Minecraft, now I'm making models of sugar cane and noticed that it has 12 levels of growth, but they are not involved in any way, and the cane itself is formed from same models and I think it would be great if they added a growth system like bamboo to it

It would be great! :D I guess you could take advantage of those blockstates to give each one different textures! :D
