Chrono Trigger 2300 A.D. Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.5

This texture pack is based on the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger. The setting for this one is a bleak and dismal future, thus the color palette is dull with browns and dark tones prevalent.

 The terrain, GUI, items and most everything is changed to reflect the style of the video game it is based on. Full credits and permissions are in the readme included in the download. If you like this texture pack you may enjoy the "Chrono Trigger 1000 A.D." that I've also released, or possibly some of my other texture packs.

Final Fantasy is my favorite video games series. I can look into making a texture pack for it, I keep kind of busy with six texture packs and real life stuff. Thanks for another great comment!

Nice texture pack..might have to start a world using just this one. Some of the textures could be modified a bit though. Grass/dirt/sand mainly. There's like, obviously repeating to them. They may be taken from the game, but some modifying doesn't hurt.

You're right about that, this texture pack has become more popular than I ever expected when I first started working on it. I'd like to make some improvements on those things eventually, perhaps I will do it now that I've made a point of working on each of my texture packs every week.

I haven't used the "favorite" feature very much myself. From what I can tell the things that you favorite will appear on your Planet Minecraft main page so that you can keep track of them easier. The author of the submissions you favorite also get more XP from users doing it. You click on the little heart under the download link above the "flag" button I think.

I like Chrono Trigger, and so when I made a map for my friends inspired by it, I used this texture pack. I was rebuilding the map for better redstone in 1.5, and then the pack didn't work. Could you please update it?

I know it would be alot to ask, and probibly not often asked. I have thisa as my vanilla Mincraft texture pack, love it, although I would like to see it changed over to tekkit. Would it be at all possible to create a tekkit version of this texture pack? I belive it would look rather good for the era.

Yeah, I'm sure there are videos on YouTube about it. Basically though most mod have at least some kind of directions for installing them. I have a short-cut on my desktop that opens up the .minecraft folder which is located in a somewhat burdensome to get to location on the PC. That way it makes things go a bit quicker. You want to make a copy of your minecraft.jar file before you start changing it, but even if you mess up you can log in to minecraft.net and have it re-download your game files. Just be sure you don't delete your saves folder or texture packs folder.

i usually use Mediafire, that's the best way i know to download texture packs, or maps, i wish i knew how to install mods correctly too

I switched to DropBox for a while when MediaFire wasn't working with AdFly. Now it is back to working with it, so my links are back on MediaFire. Sorry to make y'all go through Adfly like this, but it really helps motivate me to keep working on texture packs. It's not like I'm getting rich of it, but hey, every little bit helps, huh?

I sure hope you plan on doing textures of the other times, as well.  The two you have already look great.  I especially liked the overcast skies in this one.  That was a nice touch.

Yes, I do have plans to release texture packs for some of the other time periods. This was a very dear game to me in my childhood. I've gotten a bit behind with working on my texture packs. I hope to find time to work on them soon. Thanks for the comment.

Oh, thank you soooo much. I really love getting compliments like this on my texture packs. I'm sorry that I've let this one be out of date for this long. I've simply been caught up in playing Minecraft lately and haven't gotten myself to update it. Trust me though, it is most definitely on my to do list and isn't far from my mind.

Thank you so much, when I played this game as a kid I was amazed by the graphics, I'm not joking either. It was really fun for me to put them into the game, and I've had a lot of fun playing Minecraft with them.
