About

Dot Sized is a whimsical geometric 8x texture pack. The name was inspired by the method in which this texture pack was created: my Nintendo 3DS. The base textures were completed using a program on my 3DS and finishing touches and color changes were done using Gimp 2. This texture pack is still a heavy WIP, but I've decided to release a beta version so people can try it out. The official release of Dot Sized 1.0 will feature a completed terrain.png.

**Sooo...I put the Redstone Lamp blocks in the wrong spot on the terrain.png {{{turns a lovely shade of red}}} So, to make it up to you, I decided to do a mini update that not only fixes that embarrassing problem, but adds a handful of new and modified textures. Awww thank you so much, that's really sweet! Just a quick note about the wool, the wool in the screenies is the old wool, but you can still access it in the Dot Sized Alts folder. You have to unzip the pack and use a program like gimp to replace the new wool with the old one. Sorry it's a huge pain in the butt :(. I hope to put it up on the customizer, but it probably won't be until the summer! Thanks again for the support <3

I am using a program called inchworm animation. I'd highly recommend the 5 bucks (I think) it cost. It's pretty fun, but keep in mind I did use Gimp to edit the textures after the base textures were created using the 3DS. I found it really hard to control the color when I was first using the program. I am not more familiar with the program, and I am confident that I could produce a terrain made only using the 3DS :).
