The server i play on for feed the beast is currently 1.4.7 version of minecraft. Modded minecraft takes a while before it gets moved on to the next minecraft game version.
1.5 texture packs will not work with 1.4.7 minecraft game versions because of the newly animated blocks and changes to the game files.

I see...well, if you would like, you have my permission to change it to 1.4.7 but I don't have the time atm to change all the blocks back to 1.4.7 and to delete blocks. Hold that thought though, I'll see if Darkrai has an old pack
