Smooth Realistic Pack

Hey guys and girls and welcome to my first texturepack!

My intention was to design a realistic, but bright and clear texturepack.
Not all of the textures are my creation (credits for the awesome designers down below!)
I just added them to complete the pack.

I wanted to share it with people who also think that many realistic packs are
just a little bit too dark
...I know it's not perfect, but I'm still working on it.
Hope you enjoy it!

CTM update!

You have to use Optifine or the newest MC-Patcher to get it to work properly!

UPDATE 1.4 complete!
The texture pack is fully updated for the Version 1.4,
the pretty scary update!
Of course all the new features aresupported.
Also I added new Villagers (the old ones are still available)
and a new Irongolem.

Of course all the new mobs (witches and bats, which support randommobs) and items have been updated.
Also I changed the glowstone back into its old texture.
And finally I managed to do HD leaf textures!

BIG UPDATE!!!
It's a very big update!
Not only a few blocks have changed, but I finally added my own mobs which also support randommobs!
+New armor!
Also all animations are now selfmade.
And it's fully updated to minecraftversion 1.4.x,
even including a own witherboss texture.

I am personally using it with optifine and it works perfectly well, also on official forums she said you can use optifine or MCpatcher :D

Since I really like this pack and my whole architecture only fits to this modern style I have to tell some..

issus I encountered with the 1.5 version:

the x128 1.5 version produces hard frame drops down to 10-15 fps despite having 120 fps with x64 version. there is a fps-fixer mod which brings back the old mc lightning system to increase fps ind MC 1.5, but unfortunatly doesnt affect my problem. Still 10-15 fps :(
also the x128 (deathstar,stars,sun) skybox doesnt work and looks like a low resoluted box with some unreadable words on it.

Glass Texture is not connected anymore and has a grid pattern. This also appears in the x64 version.

Maybe I did something wrong or missed sth (hopefully)

I used minecraft 1.5 on my 1.5 Server with OptiFine 1.5.0 HD U A2 (yes, I deleted the Meta-Inf)
and of course this texture pack.

Does anyone maybe have the same problems?

hm well, i do have some answers....

first: the custom skys don't work with optifine because Optifine isn't finished yet. They'll implement better skies you just have to wait for the complete version (mcpatcher does work already btw)

second: sadly i haven't got time to include the ctm file yet due to university stuff, just wanted to put out the functional version first, but i am working on it...


why you have so many troubles with the framerate, i really do not know.

the problem is, now that texture packs are working differently, they are a little bigger, perhaps that's the problem. Also i changed the weapons and tools to 265 pixels to make them look cooler. perhaps try the "mcpatcher texture pack fixer" this should resize the weapons to 128, perhaps that'll fix your issue....

AWESOME! Thanks, it works now and looks great, but for my taste the Ore
textures are too dark or similar looking in low light situations, which
makes them often hard to differ. But no Problem I fixed that by hand and
its maybe only my opinion.

This is by far the best texture pack i have ever seen. Although the NPC villigers and the cows seem a little awkward i love this texture pack. PLEASE ADD TEXTURES FOR THE MOD MOS CREATURES AND MABEY SOME OTHERS IN THE FUTURE.Thank you for making this
