Release me, free me,
From the deathly winter.
Frostbite, snowball fights,
It was truly a wonder.
But now it needs to go,
Needs to pack its bags and hit the road,
For spring has come, spring has sprung,
And released me from the deathly winter.
A new life shall unfold,
Warmth shall replace the cold.
While winter's snows I'll never forget,
Spring's flowers I refuse to reject.
It's time to bid the past farewell,
Load up its bags and help it down the stairwell.
I can no longer hear the sleigh bells ringing,
But I hear spring a-springing.
Frostbite, snowball fights,
It was truly a wonder.
But now it needs to go,
Needs to pack its bags and hit the road,
For spring has come, spring has sprung,
And released me from the deathly winter.
A new life shall unfold,
Warmth shall replace the cold.
While winter's snows I'll never forget,
Spring's flowers I refuse to reject.
It's time to bid the past farewell,
Load up its bags and help it down the stairwell.
I can no longer hear the sleigh bells ringing,
But I hear spring a-springing.
