How to install Minecraft Data Packs

Peaceful+ is a datapack for Minecraft that allows players playing in peaceful difficulty, to obtain some items not accessible whith this difficulty. It therefore adds craft objects essentially drop by mobs in others difficulties.

Those new crafts are automatically unlocked by the player or players when they log on for the first time to their world or to a server after installing this datapack.

A list of these new crafts is shown in the advancements table in the corresponding tab. Here is the list here for the curious:
  • Blaze Rod
  • Dragon Breath
  • Ender Pearl
  • Ghast Tear
  • Nether Star
  • Phantom Membrane
  • Shulker Shell
  • Slime Ball
  • String
  • Totem of Undying
  • Trident
  • And others to come ...

You can find the crafting list on Github among the links of downloads.

is this compatible with 1.14.4 as well? can't seem to get it to work in my world.

Got it to work: unzipped the datapack, and recompressed it without the root folder named peaceful+.

I just watched if I could add this datapack like an ad-don on Bedrock ED but that's not possible yet because add-ons only allow to transform the look of worlds and change the behavior of mobs. The code to implement new recipes exist but does not work, from what I have read and experience.

I hope in the next version we can do it.
