I think of it as the evil version of the iron golem
Right now it's not really that difficult. But, with that said they have confirmed multiple times that they are changing the warden and deep dark

Big like the Iron Golem but totally dumb and sometimes can be very useless.

honestly he is an awful boss i like the spawning animation and sounds but its just a little too much for a boss that drops nothing. also the ancient city loot is lame so theres no point to go there for a non redstone user like me
We will more then likely see a better loot spawn later as thats not the final version yet there just running tests and giving people an idea of the new update, it was the same when they had snapshots of the new drowned temples back in the aquatic update. Those chests in the snapshot had like nothing but gravel and a few iron nuggets but after the update came out they had actual loot spawns

Remember that the Deep Dark and the Warden still are in development, they won't stay like this

I think pretty decent of it, but when I told the warden to have a good day he turned and looked at me right as he one hit KO'd me into oblivion. They are just minding their own buisness but MAN they are really introverted. I just wanted to start a conversation

I personally think it's going to be extremely annoying at best. MORE HEALTH AND DAMAGE THAN ANY MOB and drops nothing! That combined with the mediocre loot in Ancient Cities makes it not worth it, kind of like how Piglin Brutes make Bastions (with a tiny chance of generating netherite scraps or pigstep) hard to justify exploring. At worst, I believe Wardens will make the new 1.19 content too difficult to explore.
Warden's pretty weak ngl. I'm pretty sure me, the homies, and our dog army can clear them out. Of course the logistics of how to get our dogs down there is a nightmare. It may have high health but it's on the ground unlike Wither or the Ender dragon with range attacks which makes it more dangerous than the Warden.
So if it requires 3+ players and who knows how many dogs to kill something that spawns when players do something as simple as walking probably isn't worth all of that effort. From what I can tell, Wardens are supposed to be a hazard in the Deep Dark like zombies and creepers are in normal caves, and not a boss with an important drop like the Wither.
