Grappling Hooks is a simple datapack that adds a new mobility item for the new age of Caves & Cliffs!

Find a grappling hook in a dungeon or mineshaft, or make one yourself with copper, string, and a bit of iron. (The recipe is shown below.) With a grappling hook, you can easily traverse ravines, huge caves, and towering cliffs (at the cost of a bit of durability!) See the video above for a demo of its usage.



The grappling hook can receive Unbreaking and Mending on an anvil as well, to extend its lifespan!



An upgraded version of the grappling hook, the Battle Hook, can be made with Netherite, boasting increased range, durability, and the ability to pull mobs to you! (Its recipe is shown below.)
