TF2, just because I don't have Overwatch. :< (Though I'm assuming that Overwatch is just a more-developed version of Paladins?)
As they are both fun team-based games, I still have to go with TF2. For one, it's free. Secondly, is the customization of the characters. There are so many different load-outs that can make your character stronger or better fit to your fighting style. Also, hats are amazing and fun to mess around with. Another reason I went with TF2 is the fact that I can use Source Film Maker. This way, I don't have to wait on an actual story to explain what I'm actually doing in the game. I could just make my own if I truly wanted. I also don't have to deal with Mave in TF2. Stupid ice walls . And lastly, Overwatch doesn't have enough in it yet, especially in the story department (Yes, I know there are the shorts and comics, but they are not in-game and don't do much for the story anyway.), for me to play enough of it.Once Overwatch explains itself a bit more, my respect and willingness to play more will go up. But for now, I'm just going to keep playing Team Fortress 2.

tf2 obviously, you can really see how blizzard is trying to beat tf2 by making very similar classes, widowmaker is an almost exact copy of sniper from tf2, heck it even is sniper from tf2 if you play sniper in mannpower. phara is basically soldier, being able to fly while holding a rocket launcher. mei being literally an ice version of pyro. junkrat a demoman. genji a demoknight, mercy is just the medic with weak self defence and really? roadhog? a fat guy with a shotgun (and minigun as ability) that can heal himself by eating/drinking something? that is literally heavy from tf2 and even Zarya, a russian with a minigun-like weapon. Torbjörn AKA Engineer, smallest of the group? check. can build sentries? check. has a shotgun like weapon? check.

Than tell us what could be "original" when everything original in terms of classes was already made in every copy of every other game of similar kind?
I played TF2 for around 4 years, I bought Overwatch, I did not start TF2 since day I bought Overwatch. I don't have to have hats to say "i like the game" because of hats.

To be fair, Overwatch also has cosmetics in its game as well. And Team Fortress 2 also has different weapons as well. Although yes, it does need more weapons (Which the recent Pyro Vs Heavy update has promised will happen), Overwatch isn't exactly innocent in terms of cosmetics.

They're very different games. Whilst TF2 is a (free) First-person shooter from 2007, Overwatch is a new (expensive) MOBA with first person shooter elements, similarly to the Beta game Paladins. I like TF2 more, because I\m generally not a big fan of MOBAs in general.
Overwatch is more of an FPS then a MOBA.
Meh, the map layouts are the same, and there are similar ability thingies (forgot how they're called) just like in MOBAs. It's true it isn't isometric but first-person, but I still prefer TF2 as a first-person shooter (in this 1v1 scenario, cause I like other FPS too )

While Overwatch gives you more character options than TF2, TF2 gets my vote for its hat mod, crazy concepts, and amazing story. TF2 also has the advantage of Source Film Maker, allowing the player to create their own story. And finally, it has been proven that the Scout from TF2 is faster than Tracer. I just thought that was cool.
