Crab! Think about people who make big builds like the streamer Foolish_Gamers, it would be great

idk they should just listen to what mobs the community wants and take the top 3 and add them

As much as everyone want the mob they love most to get added, it's stupid that Mojang doesn't just add all 3 of them themselves.

I think a better approach would be to vote for the last mob you'd want out of the three. The way the votes have played out for the past years, somehow we've always gotten very worthless ones. The Sniffer doesn't help the player anymore than itself by digging up rare seeds to breed itself; the Allay is an impractical way of collecting items that can't compete with redstone; and the Glow Squid gives cool ink but that's all it does.

It's no guarantee that using reverse psychology for a vote would get a better mob that what the last years' votes got, but it might be worth doing something different.

Why can't mojang just stop mob votes and just add all three mobs to the game? i want crab, penguin, and armadillo. i want them all.

Penguin, it is the best. The crab is almost useless, and you still won't take your dogs to walks with armor, cuz they still can die :|

More info was added to the crab. It can be used to mine blocks and place blocks, basically extending the reach in general. Meaning there is a high chance we will get ranged flint-and-steel if the crab is added.

Am I the only one voting for armadillo for reasons other than wolf armor?

Penguins DEFINITELY. The armadillo looks so lame, even if it does add dog armor. I'm a cat person anyways lol

One of the mobs is cute, one of the mobs has a feature the game has needed for years and for some reason is tied to a mob vote, and one of the mobs has an item that could revolutionize the game.

I think the choice is clear.

The crab is the only useful mob here, I mean half the people who voted armadillo only voted it because of a dog.... they could literally care less about that mob if it didn't have dog armor. Penguins are literally just a less useful version of a dolphin, they're just a boat motor. Crabs can offer something that is related to the crab at least. Crab claws could be game changing if they worked with pvp too! That way if you held a crab claw in your offhand in a fight, you'd have reach. But at the cost of a totem or shield, that way making the crab way more useful.
