The PMC Historical Society comes together for it's first skin contest! With our theme being decided by a wide margin in a poll in our discord server: "The Ancient World". Since this is our first skin contest we will experiment and observe to create a formula for recurring ones in the future, feedback is thus very welcome! The winner(s) of this friendly contest will have their skins (temporarily) displayed on the front page of our PMC group!

Rules & Guidelines

• Anyone is allowed to enter! Even non-group members!
• Your skin must be history-themed
• Your skin must be themed to the keyword "The Ancient World" (you may interpret this keyword freely)
• You have approximately 4 weeks / 1 month to finish and submit your work (see the jam overview on the right for exact dates)

Basic Summary

Ranked Jam accepted Skins from participants.
Accepts only standard resolution skins.

Judging

Ranked by Judges - Only members of the jam assigned with judging permission can vote.
Entries can't be updated during the judge phase.
32 day entry period.
8 day voting phase after the entry period.

Rating Criteria

1. Aesthetic
   How Aesthetically pleasing the skin looks. Consider shape, colour palette and the balance of elements such as clothing and accesoiries, etc.
   Rated 1 to 5
2. Technique
   Things such as shading, use of multiple layers, the general qualitative appearance of the skin.
   Rated 1 to 5
3. Originality & Innovativity
   How original or innovate your skin is in any way: theme, technique, appearance, etc.
   Rated 1 to 5
4. Historicity
   How well the skin reflects or is grounded in real history.
   Rated 1 to 5

  After some reconsideration we've postponed AND extended the entry period for our contest by a week! You will now be able to enter skins from may 1st to June 2nd.
