I finished my character! The challenge in art class was to design a character that represents you in a way. Her name is Nao, she's Japanese. She's a water bender and loves everything nature!
She also has Tourette Syndrome, and has a cane to keep her safe and upright. I wanted to give her that trait for Tourette's awareness month (5/15 - 6/15) because I have tourette's and I haven't really represented tics in my art before. this was a fun project!
Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈 Nearly 5 years ago I discovered that I was a part of the LGBTQ+ community. I’ve gone through many labels and it’s been quite a journey. I am happy to say that I’ve settled on some labels that I feel comfortable using. I am unlabeled (in terms of sexuality) as well as bigenderflux. 🎉 I recently discovered another part of myself (identity wise) but I will not be mentioning it for the sake of my own comfort. I am glad I am able to be open about the fact that I am queer, that I can accept myself for who I am, and that I have others who can accept me too.
Sadly, a lot of society still hasn’t accepted that being LGBTQ+ is normal. My heart goes out to anyone who lives in a household/area where they are unable to voice their thoughts regarding LGBTQ+, to those who are questioning and unsure/unable to tell others about this. If you or someone you care needs to help concerning LGBTQ+ topics, I recommend visiting the Trevor Project website. It is a reliable and informative source for those in need. My DMs are always open as well if anyone needs to talk regarding this.

yeah I 100% get that, I mentioned that mine was unlabeled in regards to my sexuality so ppl wouldn't see the gender part n be like huh how is that unlabeled, but good point
edit: also i just wanted to point out that not every unlabeled person is questioning, some people do use the term unlabeled while they're finding their identity, but it doesn't always mean that
i could go insane with all the ice cream adjacent things there are. gelato, sorbet, sherbet, Italian ice, frozen custard, hard ice cream, soft ice cream, frozen yogurt,,, like please pick a lane america they all melt into cold sugar juice and are tasty
oh do you not have both? here sherbet is a frozen dessert made with fruit, milk, water, and sugar primarily while sorbet is made with fruit, water, and sugar primarily (it's lactose free and has less of a creamy texture)
