Hey guys so i know your asking a question? Danger does Mods...well yes...i think

This mod completly changes the way you make your weapons and tools in minecraft.

now you require smelting,molding,cooling,tanning and a lot more to make your blacksmithing in minecraft more realistic!

Step by Step explanation on how to smelt using Iron as an Example:

Step 1: Find your Iron Ore
Step 2: Craft a Wooden Bucket
Step 3: Smelt your Iron Into the wooden Bucket
Step 4: Transfer you Melted Iron to a MOULD
Step 5: Cool the Mould
Step 6: Craft item with Handle


Congratulations you have created a tool/weapon

Crafting Recipes
This is still to come.

Installation
Then just put the .zip file in your mods folder located in your .minecraft folder and you are ready to run.


The 1.5.1 version of forge changed alot of the coding... so it has to be re-writtten... But BETA 1.4.7 has been released :) heres a list of known bugs:

no way of crafting ingots
no way of crafting iron bucket
wooden bucket doesn't pick up water
Diamond Sword tip is named incorrectly
Crafting of handles and tool tips don't work
Tanning Rack texture
All sword tool tips are named Pick Head
wooden bucket of water in cooler eats bucket too
no crafting for Moulds..

Looks great, but, being a blacksmith myself, to truly forge a sword, you must beat it over an anvil. Perhaps you can replace the vanilla anvils with yours, but keep the option to use the vanilla anvil. Although this would be hard, your mod would get great recognition if you added a "hammering mechanic" which makes your sword stronger as long as you keep a steady beat with your hammer. I've been looking for a mod like this for a very, very long time. I have many creative ideas that i'd want in a mod like this. Message me up sometime if you need suggestions

Haha awesome :) I cant add anything new or fix anything until forge updates :) so just give me a list of ideas and i will see what i can do :)

Your planning on making more realism mods? Awesome! This mod already seems like a good way to change up smithing, although i would've made it so you use a clay crucible, not a wooden bucket it would burn through. :P Ã I enjoy actually, as in IRL, going outside with nothing but the clothes on my back, and seeing what kind of structures i can build, tools i can make, and food i can find. I also really enjoy minecraft, so I thought up of a bunch of ideas to make minecraft a lot more real. Think you could take a look at my ideas, and tell me what you think? Diamond for you sir. ;)

I love your ideas :) unfortunantly however i have to wait for forge to update before i can even finish this one :) will keep it in mind though :)

Just wanna say thanks to everyone who has waited so patiently for the mod :D nearly there guys! please enjoy the BETA version as the 1.5.1 version is being fixed :)

WARNING: there are alot of bugs and only install if you are willing to skrew up a world!
