Welcome to Starbase 301 Map!



Starbase 301 serves as a vital hub on the edge of Federation space, strategically positioned near the enigmatic region known as Cauldron Space. This space station is a bustling center of scientific research, diplomatic activity, and strategic coordination. The base supports Starfleet's exploration efforts into Cauldron Space, overseeing missions, coordinating starship deployments, and fostering cultural exchange with the diverse civilizations of the region.

The station's facilities include state-of-the-art laboratories for astrophysics and xenobiology, diplomatic suites for inter-species negotiations, and command centers for strategic planning and defense. Starbase 301 acts as a beacon of Federation presence and cooperation in the frontier, facilitating collaboration among scientists, diplomats, and Starfleet personnel as they navigate the mysteries and challenges of Cauldron Space.

Parts of the exteriors are built using 3D files that have been scaled, voxelized, and added to the game's map file by Amulet. From there, all of the interiors and exterior detailings are done by hand on an iPhone 13. That makes this map available for Bedrock edition, and can be converted to Java via Chunker app.

This map consists of:

1. Starbse 301 itself, a Regula-1 Type Class 2 Space Station
2. The U.S.S. Kepler, a Nova Class
3. The S.S. Granger, an Aerie Class
4. Two Delta Flyer shuttles as well as many other shuttle types
5. An Asteroid Field
6. Mining Station
7. Plans for a drydock?

Some cool things about this map:
1. Working transporter systems on the starbase and both vessels allowing you to transport around without exiting the ship (the vacuum of space)
2. Dynamic interactive warp cores
3. Functioning replicators
4. Dual action piston doors
5. Turbolift system that works (somewhat, but no more wandering and getting lost in turbo lift shafts)
6. Functioning timed Self Destruct
7. Functioning escape pods
8. Realistic interior/exterior designs
9. Flashing marker beacons
10. "Easter eggs"
