KawaMood's Waystones V.3
Avoid unnecessary long journeys!
From Minecraft 1.20.2 to 1.20.6
Avoid unnecessary long journeys!

What is Waystones?
Waystones is a data pack inspired by BlayTheNinth's famous Waystones mod.
Waystones allow you to travel quickly from one point to another in your world, and within any dimension (including custom ones).
You will also take with you your vehicle (horse, boat...) and the mobs you currently have on leash. So wasytones also allow you to transport mobs within several locations more fastly.
Unlike the mod, waystones do not appear naturally within the world, they require to be crafted.
Many settings are available to manage this content at your ease!

i.e., I can't teleport or change settings.
If you tried to reload with /reload confirm, the order commands where registered changed somehow. I can't tell.
But the fact you can't use a waystone is probably due to the fact Essentials override the vanilla /tp command by default.
You can avoid this by adding /tp to the list under the disabled-commands section from Essentials' config.yml file.

But there are also other differences that would prevent the data pack to run on this version.
I'm not likely to support snapshots as they introduce experimental changes, that even sometimes get reverted before the official release. So for the moment if you want to use Waystones (and any other data pack to be honest), you might better want to stay on 1.20.6.
I presume you updated your world to 1.20.6. The fact you saw barrels instead of the actual waystones textures is probably due to the fact the Waystones data pack's tick function was stopped by another data pack that was not up to date for this version, so it couldn't trigger the function that refresh them when their relative marker were loaded once.
Removing/setting back these data packs just changed the order they were run (it is random), so the corrupted one is probably loaded after mine now and doesn't stop it. But the order the world use can change again.
Be sure that all other data pack you use are compatible with 1.20.6, otherwise you may have issue in the future!
Edit: As an addendum, I've been playing on the same world since 1.7.5. Some of my points of interest are a loooooog way away!
