Redstone vs. Mods Which is better and Easier for players?
So constantly working with redstone and new ways to develop ideas into Minecraft, i find it difficult to obtain the quality of mods which offer simple yet immersive mechanics. I am fairly good at redstone, however unsure which route to take, as I feel mods would turn players away from a map, or just leave the map incompatible due outdated mods.

Redstone can't really compete with mods (well they're both amazing), but redstone's just not flexible or wireless. Command blocks on the other hand are great and probably even greater than mods (as of now). The main reasons would be that it's easier to setup, can do so in-game and that things update quicker (for the most part) I guess? Like things don't break as often or have a period of time where you have to recode stuff.
I Make Both!
Redstone and command blocks, as it makes it easier for a player, i have no clue on how to put mods on my minecraft, but doesn't mean you shouldn't dabble a bit, but it may turn out more of a task for you to keep the mods updated
