I didn't want to leave, but I knew I had to. I didn't want to die, but that was my only choice. To return to a life I once had, death felt like it was the only option. To leave behind the friends I once made, was much more painful than anything I have ever experienced in my own life. That was the only option I had. I had to save them, I didn't want them to die for me. No one deserved to die, not for me; not for anyone. It still saddens me; although, not a single tear makes its way from my eyes. Perhaps I had already cried all my tears? Or perhaps I never was much of a crier.

My lifeless body lying in a white casket, custom made by a dear friend I once made in this world. My ghostly silhouette watched as the funeral played out. Waiting for my time to return back to my previous life. It stabbed me like a thousand knives, watching everyone grieve over me. Clueless as to where I was heading. I whispered to myself, "I will be alright." But no one could hear the words I had whispered, for I was long gone. But maybe it was for the best, that I had died. However, there was a part of me that believed I should've lived. That I wasn't meant to die. There was a voice inside my head that questioned whether I had made the right choice or not.

Death is a final decision, and now that I've made my decision, I was no longer allowed to return. The only thing I regret is not saying goodbye to my beloved. I didn't even see them before the scythe plunged deep into my heart. The life inside my body slowly leaving it. My life playing out in front of me, as I descended further into the afterlife. The cinematic records of my life showing every moment of my life. All the good, and all the bad. So now, I make my way back to my previous life.

Where I shall forget the people I have met, and brush it off as only a dream. Something that I will soon forget, with new memories replacing the old from this life. Welcoming my body back into my previous life, before this one. As light engulfed my vision before all the previous memories disappeared. The names of the people I have met, vanishing from memory. Only seeing the faces, but no names or memory of who they were. The light slowly fading, as my eyes opened. Awakening in my old bedroom, the sun rising from its slumber.

Now that my life has returned, what new adventure shall I journey upon? Perhaps something new and exciting will make its way through my life, and new memories will replace those who I cannot remember. So now I go on with my life, for I shall make new memories with the people I know and love in this life. Farewell, my old friends, And hello, my new friends.
