Play on "Hardcore Mode", on a Superflat world, and see how long you can last. Now you might think "How am I going to survive on Hardcore Mode? I can't gather resources, can I?". You can find resources, just find villages, which are very easy to find in superflat worlds. You can get wood, and stone from the houses, and you can get food from the gardens. It is very fun.
