Minecraft 1.5 is out, amazing features but you might be noticing a lot of unnecessary lag, I know I have! So, I have found a way recently to fix this lag issue!
1) Get MCPatcher
2) Get OptiFine. Depending on what computer you have, OptiFine will NOT be the only way out of the lag spike. That's where MCPatcher come in handy.
3) Open up MCPatcher. Make sure you haven't installed Optifine into your game and if it's installed, MCPatcher will not work.
4) Install OptiFine as a patch, it MUST be installed as a patch!
5)Make sure to check OptiFine and ExtendedHD (What you need in order for this to work)
Final Step) ...Aaaaaand patch it

This is a good way of letting people know of something easier than getting Optifine.
Also, might want to change the representing image. It'll make people question whether this post actually helps.
