Hello everyone, NetworkPCE here! I am back with another blog, anime recommendations this time! I will be updating this blog most likely many times a week with new anime added to it, if you liked it i would recommend to subscribe for further updates. Images from the anime are under the review.



Sakurasou no pet na kanojo: Great anime
for romance/school/comedy loving anime fans, the story is about a high school student named Kanda who has to move to a dorm for trouble children because of his cats. It's the dorm “Sakurasou” Kanda realizes how life is really like and what he wants to be, he also meets the strange and super talented girl Shiina Mashiro. Amazing anime with great art style and amazing voice actors, just a 1st rate story as well as great comedy where it fits. This anime will encourage you a lot as well. Recommended for all ages.

My opinion: This anime is probably the best one i have ever seen, the powerful words in this anime made me cry with the sad moments, and laugh in the funny ones. Myself i loved the way the characters were illustrated and shown, i also loved the way they made the characters different. The story doesn't have any action but it never bored me one bit.






11Eyes: A really dark anime centering around a boy named “Satsuki Kakeru” together with a few girls and boys fall into a world where the sky is red and monsters roaming everywhere. They call this the “red night”. Satsuki Kakeru was born with a yellow eye which is an important thing later in the anime, the anime has little to no comedy and is very dark, however doesn't lack on the romance side.

My opinion: 11Eyes had a bit to dark of a story and had some serious lack of comedy. The story is also a little weird, however i myself enjoyed the anime as it has great graphics and audio, also some cool battle scenes.


 



Air Gear: Action filled anime where the main character “Minami Itsuki” discovers at's in a box belonging to the “Sleeping forest” at gang, he wants to form his own. With a few friends he forms the group and starts to race with other gangs, has some nice action and comedy, also filled with nice characters.

My opinion: This anime is defenitely worth a watch, i myself enjoyed the beautyful graphics and audio, as well as the story. The main character is cool at many points in this anime which makes it overly fun to watch, the story hooks you up in minutes. I also love the idea of "air gear".





Akikan!: Great comedy/action anime, is centered around the perverted main character “Kakeru Diachi”, who one day after collecting different cans for years happen to drink a melon soda, and it transformed into a girl. He later learns she is what they call an “Akikan” a steel can which turned to life to battle other cans. It becomes real trouble when his childhood friend gets hold of her own Akikan from an aluminium can, the fighting begins. Now this anime is filled with nice comedy and perverted thoughts, recommended for people who like small beautyful girls fighting eachother. NOTE: Only cute small girls are akikans.

My opinion: Akikan! Was one of those small weird anime, however it really met my expectations when i watched it. Mostly comedy and laughter this anime is about, i had a great time watching it. The graphics are not as good as some of the others however that doesn't mean it was an amazing experience. However if you don't like the first 4 episodes, don't  bother watching it, you won't like the rest either.






Ao no exorsist: Amazing action anime with small parts of comedy packed in, the main character of the anime is “Rin” who is the child of Satan, there are 2 worlds is this anime, the world of humans “Assiah” and the world of demons “Gehenna”. In this anime Rin learns of his true powers and fight of powerful demons, however his power is hard to control and ends up almost killing him. After his guardian is killed by Satan Rin moves to a magical school to learn to kill Satan, he meets a lot of interesting people and the school life of Rin begins!

My opinion: The best action anime on this list in my opinion, it has lots of comedy, sadness but as well action. Personally i love the idea of "satans son" and his blue flames power. I also really liked the story where there are many characters that you'll take notice to, and love. This anime has one of the best graphical content in anime, and has some of the most epic battles.






Baka to test to Shoukanjuu: Amazing comedy and bits of great romance and a few action scenes, the anime is centered around a total idiot named “Akihisa Yoshii” who scored at the bottom of the exams, he is forced to enter “F” class, the lowest of the low. Strangely due to a fever the super smart “Mizuki Himeji” also joins F class together with the former smart person “Samamoto Yuuji”. They decide though that they don't want to stay with their paper boxes, they start fighting using the new school system, study, earn points and challenge higher classes to get their classroom. Recommended for all ages, amazing comedy one of the best comedy anime i have seen.

My opinion: This anime in particular needs an award for it's comedy, the comedy is just endless. Myself i laughed so much i had to drink every 5 min so i wouldn't lose all liquid in my body. The anime has also got many good characters, weird small villains, and of course a few idiots which you see on the picture below. If this anime doesn't make you laugh, i will shove a banana up your ear.





Chobits: Chobits is a great anime where pc's has been made into human looking robots, Hideki Motosuwa who really wanted a “persocom” one day finds “Chi” which had been left in the trash, the half broken persocom can only say “Chi” at first but Hidek Motosuwa with help from a help friends make her learn to speak, this is a romance, comedy centered anime. It has great character buildup and Chii actually is found to be one of the only persocoms with emotions. Recommended for romance enthusiasts and comedy lovers, also for future robot lovers.

My opinion: I consider this one of the strangest anime i have ever seen, it has got decent graphics and all. The story was great and the persocom Chi is probably what made me laugh the most, defenitely worth a watch. I loved the way other characters came into the story, and actually made some scenes instead of just being left out 5 minutes after entrance.





Btoom!: Btoom! Is about a game called “Btoom!” which is turned to reality, many humans are kidnapped and sent to a secret island experiment to play “Btoom!” in real life, using bombs to kill everyone else. The idea is to collect 7 chips which can be found on peoples hands, however you have to kill the person to get it, if you collect 7 chips you'll be allowed to escape from the island. “Ryouta Sakamoto” are one of the many who were dropped on the island with bombs, Ryouta fights to survive and discovers 2 friends later in the anime. Btoom! Is basically a struggle for survival, this anime has amazing character design and nice audio. The anime is recommended for people who want to see action/romance and blood.

My opinion: Btoom! Had some nice story and graphics, i really enjoyed the graphics, audio and story of this anime. The story has nice "strategical" action and is more brain using than many other action anime. I also liked the way  the island looked and what they needed to survive, the characters of the anime are great, as well has nice characterisms.

Darker than black (Both seasons): Darker than black is an action centered anime, people have gotten mysterious powers and have become “contractors”, on the cost of their emotions, because of the Hells gate that appeared that appeared 10 years ago. The main character “Hei” happens to be the strongest user of these powers, together with Yin, Huang and Mao they together work for the syndicate to discover the secret behind the Hells gate. The first season of the anime was great, having amazing story and just epic fights, the 2nd season was a dissappointment though, didn't feel the feels that I felt in the first season at all.

My opinion: Darker than black season 1 had such amazing action that i want to give this a 9/10, the characters are strange yet really cool. The main character Hei is extremely badass which makes your feels to the highest, i also loved "Yin" so much i cried. Season 2 was a dissappointment as said earlier, it was much worse than season 1, the entire action aura changed into weird sadistic moments.





Elfen Lied: Elfen Lied is one of the darkest, saddest and most pityful anime have ever seen, it is about a special human species chosen by god to eliminate humanity, the Diclonius, born with horns they were never accepted into the human society, which made them into vicious murderers. Kouta who is the main character bumped into Lucy at a beach, he and his childhood friend Yuka took care of her, who had lost her memories and couldn't talk. NOT recommended for younger viewers and I take no responsibility for traumatic feelings after watching this anime. The anime is about how horrible it is to be different and the pity you can feel over Lucy even though she had murdered several famillies, you feel pity for her.

My opinion: My opinion on this anime is kind of dark, i liked the anime and i loved the story. However the ending was pretty weird, and left many questions. Now the story is really dark and Lucy is one of the saddest characters i have ever seen. The anime has an overly big amount of blood and gore, in my opinion






B Gata H Kei: Great anime with a nice story, centered around a girl named Yamada who is 15 years old. When she enters high school as a virgin her ultimate goal is to get laid, with a 100 men. She meets Kosuda later in the anime and falls in love. The strange story has a lot of weird and awkward moments.  Only recommended for older viewers again, (INCLUDES SEXUAL WORDS AND ACTIONS). Again great anime graphics and nice voice acting as well as a great story.

My opinion: I really enjoyed the story of this anime, being a pervert myself i like school/echii anime. I liked the way the anime was mainly about romance and comedy, had a little bit to much echiiness though, consider the story. The story was ok, but the ending was a little oversexual.





Deadman Wonderland: An anime about the struggle of a boy who is accused of murdering his entire class is sent to the first private owned prison, Deadman Wonderland. His name is “Ganta”, he discovers that he as a weird power to make blood
into small cannon balls and shoot them, he meets others that can use this weird blood wielding ability. At deadman wonderland all convicts have to participate in hard and brutal deathmatches with below 40% of survival chance. Locked away in the most horrifying prison in the world Ganta wants to leave and so the battle begins, this anime is recommended for any age however has the use of death and blood. It's more about the struggle to survive than the gore and the blood.

My opinion: Deadman Wonderland was a great experience for me, i just thought some characters were really cool, the villains are just badass in this anime. Also the whole anime idea is great with the blood manipulation powers, which turned into really cool stuff. The anime itself had a great story with both sadness, happiness and gore. Has no comedy at all, which was a bit sad.







Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (Both seasons): Amazing anime character buildup, amazing graphical quality and super good audio, story isn't as good as many of the other anime listed up here, however it defenitely deserves a good spot. This anime is centered around a boy who just now transferred schools, Hasegawa Kodaka. Because of his blonde hairstyle and his face people believe he is a delinquent and he doesn't get any friends. He happens to meet another lonely girl which decides to form a club, and forces Kodaka to join it. “The neighbours club”, more lonely students start joining the club to get some friends, the club quickly turns into a complete harem when Kodaka is the only boy. Romantic, school and a complete comedy this anime is, recommended for all ages and is defenitely worth a watch.

My opinion: This anime defenitely deserved even more than it got, it has the best graphics and audio quality of all the anime on this list. The comedy is amazing and i loved it myself, this anime was so good i have seen 3 times. I loved the interesting story which basically explains the life of a foreigner in Japan in anime way.





Death note: Death note is an anime centered around the high class student Yagami Light, who one day sees a falling note coming down next to the school, the death note. The death note can kill any person if the name is specified in the note, and the writer imagines the human written. He decides that he wants to become the god of this world, and change it to get rid off all the human scum, killers, rapists and criminals, he goes under the name “Kira”. L who is a genius detective and together with the police force they try to uncover the secret of Kira, the battle of knowledge and justice between Light and L begins. Recommended for middle age – older age viewers, has a lot of deaths and sadness as well as complete madness, amazing character buildup and story.

My opinion: This anime has great story and is very interesting, i considered it really fun to watch the battle between L and Light. The soundtracks in Death note i myself found extremely fitting to the story, the graphics and audio were good even though it was made a while ago. I also really liked the way the anime is displayed, from the evil side and the good side in neutral perspective. I came to love Light and L a lot.





Highschool of the dead: A disease is spread worldwide which makes human into zombies, the living dead,several high school students and a nurse team up together in Japan to survive the zombie apocalypse, the main character is Takashi Komurov who was one of the few who had survived the zombie outbreak, the anime is filled with action and emotions as well as critical situations, the anime includes graphical content and is not recommended for young ages. Once again pretty good graphics and nice voice actors, they overdid the boobs a little though.

My opinion: Personally i thought this anime was overdone in many ways, the boobs on the characters are ridicolously big and bumpy, also i don't recall them being made out of jelly. The graphics were not perfect but good, one thing i loved so much that this anime defenitely got the spot. The story, i loved the story about zombies invading earth and these high schoolers have to team up to survive.





Hyouka: This anime is focused around a high school boy names Oreki Hourarou who only does anything if he has to, if he does quickly. He one day joins the Classics club and meets a girl names Chitanda Eru who is the leader of the club, a cute and smart girl. Fukube who later joins the club is a smiling character with a ultra-memory and he calls himself a data base. As for Ibara who also joined at the same time, she is in love with Fukube, she is very strict with everyone else and herself. They start by investigating a mystery around 45 years ago, Oreki who is good at mysteries has the challenge to find out what happened. Recommended for all ages and mystery anime lovers, also has some parts of romance and comedy.

My opinion: Being a little mystery lover myself, this anime just filled all my expectations. I loved the story in which he has to investigate things just because of Chitandas curiousity. I also really liked the graphics and the comedy it had was great, deserves a season 2 defenitely because of the amazing story and comedy.





Kokoro Connect: A basic masterpiece of an anime, centered around the 5 members of the Cultural research club, Taichi Yaegashi (main character), Aoki Yoshifume, Kiriyama Yui and Nagase Lori. One day a strange phenomenon happens and Aoki and Yui switch bodies for a little while before turning back, the phenomenon is caused by the villain of the series “Fuuzenkazura” or “Heartseed”. Who is looking for entertainment, strange phenomenons happen to the 5 students
throughout their high school life, has on the best stories I have ever seen, great character buildup and romance. Also has it's share of comedy and slice of life. Recommended for all ages but the true art of the anime is often only understood by older.

My opinion: I loved the character designs in this anime, defenitely had some of the cutest characters i have ever seen in anime. The story i think myself was lovely, this is one of my favorite anime as well, defenitely worth a watch. I loved the way sadness, difference, happiness and love was illustrated in the anime.







Mayo Chiki!: Kinjiro who is the main character suffers from gynophobia and one day he meets the “butler” to the principals daughter and misstakely discovers that Subaru is a girl, Kinjiro has to promise not to tell anyone about Subaru's secret, but Kanade is comepletely set on to cure his gynophobia. She uses Subaru to try to cure Kinjiro's gynophobia and it ends up as a great comedy, romance and school anime. Recommended for all ages, includes minor sexual movements but otherwise fine. Great character design, art and audio. Amazing story as well as cute characters.

My opinion: I liked this anime, it had nice graphics, nice audio and over all great story. It is a very comedy and romance centered anime, which i love. The anime has a nice main character, which is sadly weak. The only thing i didn't like about the anime was the whole butler thing, i like normal girls better than butler girls.





MM!: MM! is an anime centered around the main character Sado, who suffers from a disease where you love that someone injures you, in other words a masochist. Sado one day notices a club that might help him, with people who has got some complex issues as well. The members of the club are quite strange, Isurugi Mio who is the president is a complete beauty however, also a low tempered, easily angered girl as well.  Then we have Yuno who is afraid of boys, and a few more interesting characters. This anime has good graphics, ok story and great audio, recommended for all ages and includes minor sexual topics.

My opinion: I liked this anime as well, you might be getting a little tired of my "liking" but yeah i like all anime in this list. The story was really good and had a lot of comedy and scenes that just makes you laugh. The characters are really different and thats what made it an even better experience for me. The graphics were pretty good which made my liking of the anime even better.





Another: Kouichi Sakakibara transfers to a new high school, when he arrives he notices a strange thing, nobody in his class seems to know a beautyful girl names "Misaki Mei" was actually there. Kouichi hears a few rumors and want to discover the secret behind this mystery, together with a few friends they try to solve the mystery behind the strange happenings. This is a horror anime meant for older viewers, it has MAJOR gore and graphical bloody content.

My opinion: This anime was a little to bloody and had a little to little amounts of romance. However i loved the graphics of the anime and the characters were good as well.  The ending is pretty good and it all is just plain great in many ways, it is very mysterious which makes it all more and more interesting, atleast it did for me.
