Steve was out mining one day, he had just found 19 gold and 5 iron. He checked the map of the cave he was making, "Ah! I just need to turn around, take a left, then a right, then take the left path at the fork in the cave." Steve said, turning around. But which way was the exit? Steve thought. He looked at his compass, it was spinning in cirles. There must be some kind of magnetic interferance with a pool of iron filled lava, or with some electromagnetic redstone. He kept thinking, I'll just keep going in either direction until the compass starts to work again.
