I want to start by thanking PMC and all of its members for just being there, especially its mods!

Now some people (like those with thousands of posts) may say, "500 posts, nbd". Nahhhh it is a HUGE deal, I mean I just spent a good amount of the time of my life on this site. When I found Minecraft I didn't think it would have such a large effect on my life. I just thought it would just be a game that I would get over after a while, but I was wrong and found Planet Mine Craft.

I found PMC at a perfect moment in my life. A moment where times were ruff, and my life wasn't feeling great. I had friends, but life wasn't taking any turns for good. I felt down on a regular basis, and many things that I don't want to talk about happened. But then I found PMC.

Literally the day I posted on Planetminecraft (in the welcome thread) I got a warm hello and welcome and kind of felt like people cared about me. So this is the part when I thank Smon who was the first person who ever said hi to me on PMC. It was in a thread when I asked how EXP worked and he explained it and welcomed me to PMC. He made me feel welcome, and that was a shitty day for me. I knew I belonged here that July day.

So I went along and felt like I should contribute to the community so I started my texture-pack BRsmoothcraft (which I actually liked). Then I came out with my first skin, and I felt like making skins could make my problems go away... and it did. I loved the feeling of going on PMC and seeing a thumbs up on a skin, or a good comment; the comments just warmed me up inside:D. SO I started making skins, but it wasn't the skins that made me feel good. This was the time period when I stared posting on the forums, and I found out how many great people are on here. I love this community so much. At one point I averaged almost 5.5 posts a day. PMC was a place I went to (including the chat feature) when days were crappy. It is like a world (PLANET) were everyone (except for the trolls) was considerate and nicer then the people at school. I wasn't bullied on here, and people accepted me for playing minecraft :D.

Being 15 and playing minecraft it also made me feel like I wasn't the only person in the world that played minecraft (like I felt at school). Then I made my first mod, and the comments I got on it made me feel like I made something that contributed. I then figured out what this community is all about, when I started skyping with some of its members like OMARATION, Skiddely, ssteeve, John111898... who I now know by their real names. I started working on my Fruit Juice mod (which failed, BTW) and needed help and I got a TON of help, so thanks guys for that. When ever I need help I felt like coming here helped. HECK, thanks to PMC I learned I could put weed in a hookah, lol (thanks to a Grandmaster Nether Knight)

Big thanks to Cyprezz for making this site in the first place, where I feel like I matter...

One more thing, PMC actually helped me make more friends in real life (school, malls). PMC reminded me that I do matter, and it gave me a shit ton of confidence. Though my life has taken a ton of twists and turns, PMC was always here... and definitely enriched my life... right now I am thinking if I should proof read this before posting ...

Some people I have no life, well fuck them! PMC gave me the tools to give myself a life, thanks to PMC I feel like a matter. It gave me confidence to make more friends and be outright a better person so.......
