Steve wasn't always the only person alive. There were lots and lots of villages around, Steve had no friends because he liked to stay alone and nobody knew why. The only people he liked were his family, they always made him happy. One day something terrible happened, the scientists in the village made a potion that turned them into zombies and if a zombie bites you, you turn into one. His family was out at the same time and Steve saw people running away from zombies, they ran away from the village but the zombies still followed them. Steve was terrified, he was only eleven years old. He thought about his family and if they were zombies or not. His house was at the edge of the village, Steve looked out of the window and he saw no zombies except for one right beside his house, he quickly hid from the window to avoid being seen. He took his fathers diamond sword, ran out the door and sliced the zombies head in half. He killed all the rest of the zombies in town, he looked at each of their faces but none of them belonged to his parents. He was determined to find his parents, he just knew they were alive. Steve checked all of the houses but there were no survivors. He went to all the other villages, no survivors, it was like an apocalypse.
Steve finally gave up looking for survivors and built a small house out of wood. He started expanding the house to a bigger size and he made walls around it to make it look like a castle. He noticed that the zombies only came out at night. Only some came out in the day but then they started burning in the sun. He didn't understand that. Steve built houses in case if some survivors came. Steve was really sad because there were no survivors, he started digging underground tunnels, he even started making machines out of redstone. He got better at crafting, using redstone and digging. Steve had to somehow fix this and get people back to normal. He thought about a potion but no, it's too hard he thought. Redstone! Yes, redstone he thought. He had the idea of making a time machine, he got all the items needed for it and he started building. He made the time machine and there was a risk that some zombies could go through as well so he had to TNT the portal after he teleported. He put lots of TNT around the portal and he turned it on. To his surprise the colour of the middle of the time machine was lava.
He turned on the TNT and jumped in.
Steve was inside some kind of tornado, he went round and round and round until he finally fell on to the ground. Steve looked around and saw many people walk past him, It was his village! Steve looked around, he was so happy to see all the people but then he remembered, he had to stop whoever made the zombie apocalypse start. He thought for a moment and then he ran for the laboratory. Then to Steve's dissapointment he heard screams from the laboratory, Steve ran away from the laboratory as fast as he could but then he thought that he had to save at least someone. He saw a person running away from a zombie so he went to save the person. He got his sword out and sliced the zombie in half. It turned out the person was a girl about Steve's age. "Follow me", said Steve. She followed him to his house, Steve killing the zombies on his way. They got to the house and hid in Steve's room. "What's happening?", asked the girl. "I'm not completely sure what's happening but I believe it has something to do with the laboratory", said Steve. "What's your name?", asked Steve. "My name is Alex", replied Alex. "My name is Steve", said Steve. Steve told her about everything that happened, she felt sorry for what happened to his parents but what about her parents? They both were sad now. "Where do you live?", asked Steve. "At the other side of the village", replied Alex. "Let's go and look if somebody's there", said Steve. They went and Steve killed all the zombies on the way. When they got there they went inside but nobody was there. They searched all of the village but nobody. Steve and Alex are searching all of the minecraft world. Maybe they found someone already?
