Hello people! Just in case you missed it, here's a link to Part 4, which also has links to my other parts of this story. Thanks for reading!

“You made the right call,” the white-eyed Alex said as light became visible at the end of the tunnel. “You’ll be more safe here. And I can tell you more.”

“Where, exactly, is ‘here?’” Fantasy asked, starting to wonder if she really should have followed this person. What if this was a trick? Then again, everyone at the mansion did seem pretty hostile. How much worse could this be?

“Stop worrying,” the person up ahead said. “‘Here’ is a safe camp for all peaceful beings in Minecraft. We’ve been preparing for a user for a while now.”

“That sounds like something that should make me nervous.”

The Alex laughed a lovely laugh, but Fantasy remained nervous. “You’ll be fine, Fantasy.”

“How do you know my name?”

“Sorry, I should have told you. I’m able to read your thoughts, and doing so has become a bit of a force of habit.”

“Seriously!” Fantasy answered. “That’s supposed to make me trust you?”

She shrugged. “It was honest. You can call me Herowryn, be the way.”

“Like, similar to Herobrine?!” I’m starting to regret this… Fantasy thought.

“Yes, but don’t worry. You could say I’m the… reverse, from Herobrine.”

  “What’s that supposed to mean?”

She shrugged. “He attacks, I save.”

“Fine then,” Fantasy answered. “Let’s say I do believe you. Why did you bother to come get me?”

“You’re in serious danger,” Herowryn replied. “Herobrine is using you to manipulate your friend, mostly through threats. Eventually, after hearing about how stubborn he is, I figured that that may result in… well… to put it simply…”

“Herobrine might have killed me,” Fantasy whispered, processing what she had just heard. For the time being, that felt impossible, so she decided to return to that thought later. “Wait… what about Starz? Isn’t he in trouble?”

“Herobrine needs him alive,” Herowryn responded. “He might get yelled at, but chances are that’s the worst.”

  “Are you lying?”

She remained silent for a moment. “Maybe.”

“What?” Fantasy responded. “We have to go back! I can’t just leave him-”

“We’ll come back for him later,” Herowryn replied, turning around and grabbing Fantasy’s hand. “I can at least promise that you’re friend will live.”

“That’s not enough,” Fantasy replied, Twisting. “We need to look out for each other.”

“Please just come with me,” she said, yanking Fantasy out of the tunnel. “We need to get you to safety.”

  “Not without Starz.”

“You’re not giving up, are you?”

Fantasy stood up straighter as a response. “No.”

“Then I’m sorry about this.” Herowryn’s arm shot forward, and Fantasy was knocked unconscious.

Starz paced across the room, unable to calm down enough to even want to sit on the large bed a short distance away. Fantasy was trapped somewhere. And it might be his fault.

He had angered Herobrine. He had gotten Fantasy locked up in a room downstairs. Starz still wasn’t sure whether or not that was truly all they were doing to her.

I just have to be careful, he thought, trying to calm himself down. Listen to what they say, and do my best to not get myself in trouble.

It was then that the door burst open.

“Where is she!” a furious Herobrine shouted as he stormed into the room. “Where is the girl?!”

Starz froze for a moment before responding. “What?” he asked, his tone slightly panicked. Herobrine kept coming closer.

“Don’t play dumb,” he said. “We know you found a way to hide her somewhere.”

“You mean… she’s gone?” The thought quickly caused Starz to smile, even though Herobrine was hovering over him in a very threatening way. Fantasy was safe. She had somehow escaped.

“You really don’t know,” Herobrine moaned, moving a couple steps away. Starz shook his head, still smiling at Fantasy’s escape.

“Well then,” Herobrine said, his face and tone once again unreadable. “I suppose this means-”

“Sir!” Aaron called, running through the still-open door. “We think we know what may have happened. An illager said Hero-”

“Great,” Herobrine said, quickly turning toward the door. “Let’s talk about this somewhere else, shall we?” Starz felt like he could hear the unspoken words; Away from the boy. Aaron nodded before following his master out the door.

How did Fantasy get away? Starz asked himself as the door closed. And where is she now? Who is this “Hero” person? From what Starz had gathered, it was either very good, or very, very bad. With dozens of questions and no answers, Starz finally flopped onto the oversized bed. He glanced out the window to find that it was dark.

No no no no no no no no no! Depending on how similar this “I’m-stuck-in-Minecraft” thing was to actual “I’m-just-playing-Minecraft,” that might mean-

Starz fell asleep, never finishing that thought.

Yay! You made it to the end! And your still reading this note thingy! I want to start by saying I'm soooooooo sorry that it took me a month to get this out to you. First the holidays came along, then it took me forever to even get close to getting Fantasy and Starz reactions down. Even then, this is still a good 300 words shorter than usual. Thanks to everyone you supports me (and that includes those who never actually look at this after it's published, but help me out along the way) for giving me a reason to do those and staying patient with me even though this took forever. For the rest of you, I would like to say once again that I can never have too much feedback. Please leave a comment, and a diamond if you enjoyed!
