Ugh. I've just woken up. I feel terrible. Well that's weird. I can't hear my parents droning on about how i'll be late for school. I shift my neck, turning from side-to-side, only to find that it wasn't my cat, trying to sneak under the covers to get warm that aroused me from my sleep.

I know that I should get up, but I really don't want to. *Scshff, Sctsfghh, BANG* I could have sworn that I heard someone' feet moving, But I know that the loud Clattering sound was real. I start getting scared, I keep telling myself it's nothing to be afraid of, it's just my cat, or my parents trying to prepare my little brother for Semester 2.

It's dark in my room, it was dark before when I got up except that there was light coming squeezing through the top of my Navy Blue curtains. Now it's just black. For a moment, I was petrified not daring to move, incase something grabbed me,quickly put my head under my pillow, then I slide under the covers, I have to tuck my knees up for else my feet would stick out the end of my bed.. and I do not want that happening. I just think about nothing, and keep as still as I can, hoping not to disturb the creature that my mind has created.

After about five minutes I look up to wear my pillow should be, I poke my hand out and turn it sideways so's that I can slide my head out, I nervously poke my eyes out of the covers, I move as fast as lighning searching for my bedside lamp switch, my hand is scooting around but I can't find the cord attached to my lamp that has the switch on it,I finally find the bottom of the cord and franticly slide my hand along the black rubber until I touch the hard, plastic retangle which has the switch on it. I push the switch up at my lamp turns on, setting a safe feel around myself and my room.

I quickly glance across my surroundings, all nice,safe and normal. Thank god...
