Let me give you a scenario
All your friends have diamonds coming
out of their ears,
meanwhile, you have a dodgey
diamond pick and broken
armour.
They were mining for minutes.
You were mining for hours...
So you want the "secret"?
Here it is!
Firstly i will tell you what is wrong.
Wrong!
Mining down is dangerous.
If you are going to mine down,
Dig 2x1 instead of 1x1
and keep switching sides,
so that you don't mine the
block you are standing on.
Too Straight!
Just think of the diamonds that could be
underneath you!
This is better than the other one,
but still no! There could still
be ores underneath you!
Then what do you suggest?

It's simple.
Mine in circles with a efficiency
diamond pick!
(Circles don't have to be exact)

I forgot.
This is the solution for the nooby
miner! It's called branch mining.
Much like the other solution.
Except easier.
Mine like you usually would, in bendy lines.
Then branch off that mine.
Then branch off that.
Then off of that.
Etc.
But don't mine in straight lines!
Go up, then down,
then left, then right,
then maybe even diagonly!
That's it!
