Finally, the iron ore gave up and broke. But as it turns out, the iron ore was connected to a devious redstone contraption which had now trapped the three unlucky folks in a cobblestone cage. Even worse, the floor was slowly opening up, revealing a deadly lava pit below. While the spider crawled up the wall and out of the cage like a coward, the zombie used this short moment of shock to grab Steve, roll over and push him over the edge of the slowly shrinking floor. But Steve managed to hold onto the edge and desperately tried to get back up. Steve knew that he was too weak and that his end was near so he came to accept his fate. Just as he was about to let go though, he felt a strong grip on his arm. It was the zombie. He pulled Steve back on the platform. After that the zombie stood next to the wall and put his hands toghether to form a step out of the cage. Steve gladly accepted the offer, stepped onto the zombie's hands and with a mighty jump he landed ontop of the cage wall. He looked back and gazed into the zombies eyes. "Goodbye, friend!" the zombie growled before he jumped into the fiery depth below. After a short moment of silence, Steve jumped of the cage wall, and stumbled back to his home with a tear rolling down his cheek.
