Hello there readers!Today I want to talk about those players that advertise server on other server with hope some of players will join.

Okay,I know they are doing it so they would gain on players but why are they doing it on other server.They come out of nowhere,just join and start spamming chat with IP address of the server.In my opinion it's like you are coming to someones birthday party to join your birthday party.To me it doesn't make sense at all AND you get banned after,what's the worst someone might attack that server you advertised and you will probably lost it forever,not just you will lose the server,you can lose the players,now this only goes for server owners.I never advertised on other server because it's rude and kinda crazy.Instead of advertising on servers you can send IP address to your friends or go on forums and advertise on there,of course under right topic or you can make a youtube video,I heard it can help a lot because thousands of people can just type in search bar "minecraft server" and if you're lucky enough your video might pop up.

On couple of servers I've seen players making floating advertising for their server or server they are playing on,to be honest I think that's useless because someone will report you and the advertising will be deleted and you will be banned.Sometimes other players might think you are loser because you are advertising on other server and they probably wont come on that server.Now,of course sometimes it might work,you might get new players but chances of that server being attacked is big,so think about it.I'd rather not advertise on servers because its risking and its really rare for it to work especially if you are on some really good server,if that server is better than yours,they will stay on it and wont check yours at all.If you are ready for risk that might come then you can do it.I'm not forbidding you to advertise on other servers anymore,i'm just saying how it risky might be.

Also there are couple of cases where owners make players to go and advertise on other server,if they do it they will get an reward,something such as MOD or OP.Some players are really naive and 'thirsty' of getting higher and stronger rank on server,so they just go on random servers and do it,but they don't get it.Server owners might lie to you saying that they will give you higher rank if you go do something for them,I mean its obvious that they are just using you,why don't they go by themselves?It's because they are scared.
